Too many books, too little time.
Brother's Keeper - Elizabeth Finn 4 “walk-in freezers” stars! (ah ah ah)

This book was a surprisingly good reading. I’ve got to say that I wasn’t expecting liking it as much as I liked.

This is the story of Rowan and Logan.
Rowan is Logan’s younger sister best friend, Sara, and they been close for years. Since Rowan has a pretty bad life at home she spends a lot of time with Sara’s family. (Logan included!)

One night after an especially bad night at home, Rowan calls Sara to come get her, but who ends up picking up her phone is Logan and he is the one who goes save Rowan. After that night everything changes and they start to see each other in a completely different way.

But the fact that he is her best friend older brother whom she knows for years, he is also seven years older, has a girlfriend and will soon finish college and move to another town. And neither of them wants to start something that soon has to be over.

description

“I want him to reach out to me, but I know he can't. He can't for all the same reasons I can't. It hurts too much. It's like an alcoholic taking a sip of wine; the pleasure of the indulgence would be immediate and swift, but the aftermath would be devastating.”

Well, let me just tell you that not only this book has an awesome story and characters, is also hot as hell. A friend advised me to get a walk-in freezer before reading it, and boy, was she right!

Anyway, this was a really good reading and the only thing that made me “itch” was the fact it was written in the present tense. (I don’t know why, but for me books should always be written in the past tense xD)

Go read people ;)
