Too many books, too little time.
Protecting What's His (Line of Duty, #1) - Tessa Bailey I’ll be short on this one because for some reason I never know how to review these books.
So I’m just gonna say that it was pretty damn good.

Ginger had a pretty f***ed life and always had to take care of her younger sister, Willa. One day she sees a bag with 50,000$ and she knows it’s her only of chance of giving a decent life to Willa… and her for that matter. So she took the money, grabbed Willa and ran to Chicago in the middle of the night.
In the day they are moving to their new house she meets her new neighbor: Derek. And he is a cop. Oh, the irony!

She and Derek are obviously attracted to each other and he’s decided to have her… but her secrets prevent her for truly trust him. Obviously he is nothing if not persistent and chases her nonetheless. And well, we all know where this is going from here.

Let me just tell you why this book was so good:
1 – Hot and sexy Alpha-male
2 - Awesome Heroine
3 – Nice supporting characters
4 – HOT STEAM (and very cute romantic scenes, as well)

Thus, if you ever find yourself in need of a good, fast reading pick-me-up good with a hot hero, you should give this series a try! :)
